In the year marking the centenary of the birth of Carlos Paredes, dois guitarristas e compositores com universos próprios — José Peixoto e Nuno Cintrão — come together for a lively, heartfelt and reinvented tribute to the master of the Portuguese guitar.
Building on the complicity forged in the duo Combinatorium and their album Fragmentos Imaginários, the musicians offer a personal visit to Paredes' universe, more than a revisitation — a creative dialogue, where silence and melody, memory and risk walk side by side.
José Peixoto, a leading figure in contemporary Portuguese guitar, known for his work with Madredeus, Maria João, José Mário Branco and so many others, brings the classical heritage and lyricism for which he is renowned.
Nuno Cintrão, a restless sound experimenter and transdisciplinary creator, with a career that crosses music, theatre, objects and hybrid territories, adds new layers and textures.
