Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Sofia Leão is one of the great revelations of 2025. In May, at just 18 years old, she released her debut album, Mar — a collection of 12 songs that create an intimate and immersive atmosphere, with a language that reveals a rare maturity and depth of someone who has a lot to say and knows how to say it.
This first work reflects the unique sensitivity of a personal journey that began at an early age: at 10, Sofia Leão was already composing, and at 15, she transformed her bedroom into a studio. In between, at 13, she recorded for the first time with her father, Rodrigo Leão. Produced by João Eleutério, Mar It blends the notes of a crystal-clear piano with ethereal electronic ambience and delicate vocal harmonies, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in unique emotional landscapes.
At Misty Fest, the artist will showcase her immense soul and unusual talent through a show that elevates both her contemplative melodies and her creative audacity, on a journey that still has so much to explore and offer.
