Formed in 1982, Sétima Legião uniquely defined Portuguese music in the 1980s and 1990s. With a sound that blends alternative pop with elements of national tradition and identity, the band created a unique universe that won over generations. Four decades later, the group is reuniting on stage, celebrating music as they always have: in communion, among friends, with strength and emotion.
The line-up includes key names such as Pedro Oliveira, Rodrigo Leão, Nuno Cruz, Gabriel Gomes, Paulo Marinho and Paulo Abelho – musicians who, in addition to Sétima Legião, have been involved in other fundamental projects in Portuguese music, such as Madredeus, Gaiteiros de Lisboa and Cindy Kat.
In this special comeback, they will perform their iconic debut album live and in its entirety A Um Deus Desconhecido (1984), a milestone in Brazilian music, along with other songs that have become classics. The concert promises a reunion with the lyrical and musical power of a band that helped define the sound of a generation.
Now it's time to hear these songs live again – with all the intensity, mysticism and beauty that has always marked us.
